Clean Power

Read in another forum about certain components need really clean power and I quote "They will reveal characteristics from 'colored' amplifiers. Key is IMHO, use amplifiers that are old school in sound -powerful, robust and detailed. Stay away from colored 'designer' amps...like DLS, Audison etc....". Could someone please elaborate on this.

It has been said and proven over and over, that this isn't true.
