I'm clearing out the garage, thinking I just may invest the cash into a new 4 channel amp. What I have up for sale:

Clarion hx-d10:

Excellent sounding head unit. The Clarion doesn't have the frills and fluff of newer head units, but you will be hard pressed to find a cd player with better sound quality. It is in good condition. It has light scratches on it that you'd expect from a 4 year old cd player, but nothing major or noticeable unless you look at it in direct sunlight with the unit off. Comes with the cd player, wire harness, box, manual, mounting cage, and face plate case. I cant seem to find the trim piece for it, but I might be able to somewhere. Some specs:

3 - 4v preamp outs (front/rear/non fading w/level control)

two 24bit DAC's with 128x oversampling

Motorized, Detachable fold-down face

etc. etc.

Im looking for $90 for it.

I also have a set of rainbow pro 6.5" comps. These are a few years old. I installed them in my last car and liked them so much I bought another set. These were installed in the back for most of there lives. I had them on a switch for when I had passengers in the back, so they have minimal wear on them. I dont have any of the mounting hardware though, all I have are the drivers, the tweeters, the crossovers and the grills for them. The tweeters have a bit of silicone on the grills, but nothing major or affecting performance. The drivers are black, not the ones with the printed dust caps. Because of the lack of hardware, I'm willing to let them go for $190.

Last I have a ppi-pcx 440. Sorry no pics right now. This amp sounds great, it was used as a backup to my 480 for awhile. When it was shipped to me the clear coat had a lot of checking on it, but nothing that breaks the surface. It functions 100%. Not the prettiest, but will definately get the job done.

# 40 x 4 Watts @ 4 Ohms Stereo

# 80 x 4 Watts @ 2 Ohms Stereo

# 160 x 2 Watts @ 4 Ohms Mono

looking for $80

I would trade some or all of this stuff for a very nice 4 channel amp. I could also add some cash if you'd just like one thing. Want to build me a nice ported box? I could trade some stuff for that also. I have feedback on ebay under gotenks_fan, and I have a verified paypal account that I've had for 7 years with 111 feedback.

Any questions feel free to ask!

Bump for a great HU

i loved my old hx-d10 for it's SQ and awsome little vintage graphics. yo should get a video of the faceplated graphics, they are so oldschool and awsome...for a deck released in 2001 it has quality enough components in it to keep up new decks......very good deck for the money. i paid a good 170 for mine a few yars back....90 dollars is a ****ign STEAL!!!!! lucky bastards.....no internal amp but if ur smart and have an ampfor ur mids and high you wont need it. great deck, good luck with the sale

Thanks for the bump. I love this head unit too but after 4 years its time for a change. I don't have a way to hook it up currently or else I would, the screensavers on it are hilarious.

Has the deck ever had a problem with not reading CDs? I've never used the HXD10, but a couple of other Clarion decks of the same vintage I've had would give me error messages all the time on perfectly good CDs.

They were run off of two channels of a ppi pcx for most of there life, so 40 watts. For awhile they were run bridged on the same amp, so 160. They definately like to be in the 100 watt range to really get singing. That picture was taken last night, but since I've been able to get a bit more goo off, but like I said its nothing that would mess with the performence of these tweets...

khail19, no dreaded error 6 ever on the clarion. I had that problem on my old 9675z years back which is why I upgraded to this.

never had problems with mine, and mine was a refurb //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

occassionally youll get a bad egg....i think these are built pretty solid though
