Clarion DXZ945mp

Hi Everyone,

I currently have a JVC-KD-SH99 Head Unit, I love this Head Unit, But it's time for a change, i have a friend of mine who is going to buy it from me.

Now i was thinking of buying the new Clarion DXZ945MP.

I just want to know if anyone ever used this Head Unit. And is Clarion Good with Mp3s ???

My friend has a Pioneer Mp3 Head unit and it takes lots of time to go from 1 song to the other. And if a cd has multiple folders in it it barely reads it. While the JVC one is extremly good. It takes barely 1.5 seconds to move from 1 song to the other (3 to 5 seconds with the pioneer one). I have cd's with more than 15 folders on the root and it has no problem at all reading it.

Oh and one more thing, Does it handle european fm stations ? with the JVC unit you can select from the Head unit menu if it's European or US Region.

With my clarion it takes such a short amount of time to switch between songs that i dont even notice a difference between regular CD play and MP3 play. I dont think i have had more than ~8 folders on one CD, but no problems with that amount.

I have the DXZ835MP, I know it's not the same model but i would assume it's about the same as far as MP3 playback is concerned.
