Im on the market to get a new head unit....I currently have a JVC KD-SHX700.....which of these two would you all recommend?

no reason...the HU i have no is great...i just like a bit a of change every once in a while....*shrugs*

well just for some change then why not try out the clarion. saw in a friends car and it looked nice. touch screen is a pretty cool feature. i cant tell you much just because i only saw it for a little while. my .02 cents

My .02 = touch screen, while it's a nice feature, is just another thing for people who ride shotgun to mess up.

The JVC is an interesting HU, and the screen is actually quite nice, but I think the Clarion is the better of the two units, as far as tuning and SQ is concerned. If you want to watch movies, and have people stare at the headunit all day, the JVC is the way to go.

clarion will be better for sq no doubt... but wow factor goes to the jvc. depends on what you want it for.

clarion gets my vote ina HU race against a JVC any day...but thats just me
