Clarion apa 4203

Just picked up a Clarion apa 4203 4 channel amp. It was on Craigslist for 30 bucks so i grabbed it, didnt know much about it but i figured for 30 bucks it was worth a shot. Anyone know anything about this amp? Its pretty beat up but nothing a nice paint job cant fix. Its rated at 50 watts @ 4 and 75 @ 2, any idea if these are some what close to actual power? Its fused at 50 amps. Any input on these would be nice.

I picked up a Clarion APA 4204 4 channel for $40 locally and liked it. Don't know for sure if it puts out rated but it seems to and I actually preferred it running my 4 coaxials compared to my Alpine MRP-F240. I couldn't find much info on them either but I'd like to hear some.

clarion amps do rated and have decent build quality, you can always find them cheap on cl

Clarion amps do, on average from what I've seen, right at to 10% above rated power. Can't go wrong with them. I have seen 1 or 2 that fell short of its rated power, but you'd never hear it. $30 and $40 is a great price for their APA amps. Great amps they are.

I had ab APA4160, chs 1&2 at 4 ohms to my fronts, chs 3&4 bridged at 2 ohms to two 10" subs. Never got hot, never shut off, never complained. Great amp!
