clarion and fosgate amps for compnents

I can get these products pretty cheap and tax free and i was wondering if either of them would work to power a set of components. My main concern is maintaining the sq that i get from the phoenix gold i am currently using. it would be a 200x2.

Great choice. I don't think it would be worth spending the money though. PG amps are very decent and I see no reason to change equipment. What model PG amp do you have now???

i have the new xenon 100.2 and its not enuff for my cdt cl62's

the guys using it as a sub amp love it, the guy using it for comps said he lost some clarity.

Hmmm, That's unusual. I wonder what his other equipment was?

Any who, you probably really do not need an amp capable of +800 watts for comps anywayz. Check out some of there lower power 2 or 4 channel amps. Very great build quality on the new fosgates.

i could put my pg ti 600.2 on the components and the forsgate on my subs....

well i really wanted a xenon 200.2 but i had to get something local if i wanted it before september. the store i went to didn't have the fosgate 800.2 but they did have a fosgate 400.4. its 200rmsx2@4 bridged so i went ahead and got it. its louder but not quite as clear as the xenon but hopefully i can remedy that tommorow by adjusting the eql.

got it tuned and it seems to be just what i needed.
