Civics are alright commuter cars. Dad has an 87 si and gets 40+mpg. Front end doesn't even have springs. It's like a big go kart.

Have a 97 ex as my daily, sure gets better gas mileage than my 03 HD f150, but **** it's slow. Lol.

I have a silver 7th gen 5 speed I love the car 160k on it runs great. Oh and a 5.5k watt sound system. :-D

Mines a sedan... EX 2004 and stock alty.. lol Looking to get a mechman alt when it warms up a bit for me to install. I'm just dreading the 440 dollar price tag... Even though theres 4k in the car already... haha backwards I know...

My civic has 4 turbo's and 12 blow off valves it goes WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! every time I let off the gas. It also has the biggest gayest ricer wing money could buy and I can't forget the mexiflames down the side I got from autozone.

lol I hear ya dude....same reason I haven't bought one yet! when i was avidly looking a few months ago I was quoted at around $320 from tenney alts i think? if youre looking for a cheaper alt I could dig up that email and let you know who it was. so do you just have some biiiiiiig azz batts to push 5.5k? lol

I have 2 102 AH C&D batteries and a D5100 xs power in front. and 51 ft of 1/0 through the car.. I will be searching for alts here soon and I know mechman isn't the only alt out there but it's darn good. Plus have you looked at the engine bay? It's tighter than a nuns vag...
