Checking if one of my four subs went bad with multimeter.

OK so i have four single 4 ohm subs should be around 1ohm well im at 1.3 ohms. So im thinkin that i only have three subs working. It is a single chambered box with one speaker terminal so idk. Im about to pull it in my shop and take out the subs but im tired of doing that. What do yall think?

What makes you think it isn't working? Are you basing this assumption off of the ohm load alone? I could easily see four 4 ohm subs sitting just above a 1 ohm load. Remember they are 4 ohms nominal. They may be a little above that or they may be a little below that. It can't possibly be that hard to check the subs and make sure they are all hooked up. You could even do a simple pop test with a screw gun battery or even a 9 volt.

Mainly output i doubled my power and cone area and my output is a tiny bit more but sq has went to ****. Idk one of the subs just didnt smell right when i took it out of the box. Smelt burnt up. But mainly output and ohm load has me wondering. A pop test is a good idea i wasnt thinking off i dont know why. I will use my drill battery. If all subs are working correctly and hooked up then i would get movement in all four subs. Correct?

It is in a blazer with subs up-firing, port firing to the rear. About 4 inches off the hatch.
