Check this out such pretty amps

Very interesting. Thank you for posting that.

One thing alarmed me. When the guy was drilling holes for the gold badge I could have sworn that the guts were installed. Wouldnt this cause a problem with metal shavings getting on the circuit board???

Other than that, WOWZA! Nice amps!

OT for the OP:

Do they still do the classic car shows/cruises on the weekends in Belvidere?

ufortunetly no the cops cracked down on it due to stupid people doing burnoust

my dad and a bunch of his buddies are trying to get it going again had a number of cars out this year

I don't see the benefit of handmade.

Take for instance the models of the F-14, F-16, and other models we test.

They aren't handmade, they are built by CNC machines to tolerances greater than people can produce. Although they are built 2 or 3 at a time and the cost exceeds $100k, they are far better than what people can produce and are built in a much shorter amount of time.

However, the funding for our testing facility exceeds the revenue of the car audio industry...might be a reason.

nice .. thanks for the vid..

I had a Genisis Profile Amp they say its not the bottom line its just used for a difrent aplacation.. it stood 1.5" tall x 8.5" x 11"

sweet lil amp 100x2 the profile sub was about the same size..

They get a thumbs up from me:thumbupw:

Terrible manufacturing practices. Lack of ESD prevention and drilling the casing while the PCB is installed? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

Nice looking amps though.

if you look at the heatsinks they are only drilling through the top layer into a empty void they aren't going anywhere near the board

The lack of ESD prevention still kills me, especially for such expensive, high-end amps.
