Ok, making box for two 12" Rockford Fosgate P3's. Came up with the following:

Length: 39.5

Height: 15

Depth: 18

Comes out to 4.9 Cubic Feet? But that is without subtracting volume for ports and subs i think. Someone help me? tell me total cubes? Did i build it correct?

With two 4" PVC pipe and I'm thinking 10" deep? have not put in pipes yet so i am asking you. What should i tune it to? and how do i tune? I am new at this, first box ever..

port diameter and length + cu^ft = tune

accroding to your specs you have: (Assuming your using 3/4 mdf) Total 4.89cu^ft

If you did 2 ports at 4" round by 10" length you should be at about 33hz. VB is then 4.5cu^ft

bass box is showing to much vent air velocity with just two 4" ports. I'd suggest one 8" port 24" long. Makes your box 34hz

wait wait, 8" at 24" long?...you mean rectangle port? and uh, too much air? so like...tell me what i need to do, if i build it way i am atm will it be ok?

Finishing box today guys...can anyone tell me if i build it way i said if it will sound good?....shoulod i change length of ports? if so what to? What will that tune it to? I AM SO CONFUSED! HELP ME
