Cheapest source of distribution blocks and fuse blocks/holders?

ya, but add stuff up, it's not like ebay where you have to pay s+h for individual items
The owner of http://www.darvex.com, eBay user bag-boy, combines shipping as well. It will be like $5 or so for the first item and then somewhere around $0.50 or less for each subsequent item in the same order.

I'm not saying what you're posting isn't a good deal ~ don't mistake my intent.

I suggest darvex (and consequently bag-boy) when people are looking for this kind of stuff because I have personal experience buying from him and I know inarguably he takes care of business and PRONTO! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I bought almost all the stuff in my last install from Darvex. At the time, Stinger was the only company that made what I needed. Now I'm redoing everything (except the runs of 1/0 from under the hood) and Knu has what I need this time and the price is better than Stinger.

Price doesn't matter a whole lot if the stuff doesn't accomplish what you need it to do.

yeah bag-boy is awesome... you should always have him on the fav's on ebay sellers.... everyone should....I'm talkin like you order and poof its in front of you before you read the email sayin you win the auction.... super fast.... and great prices to boot.

ya, that's weird about redorbit

when i ordered my 0 gauge, i ordered 14 0 gauge set-screw ring terminals, and a few distro blocks, and two pairs of battery terminals, and shipping was like $19 total

they must have defaulted to scammery just recently

sorry for the bogus recommendation, hopefully they become cool again

that was my go-to site

i'll beat all ya'll prices, i'm gonna go to menards tomorrow, buy a project box just big enough to fit an anl fuse in with 2 terminals to bolt it down to, and get 2 1" x 1" x 2" blocks of copper......which might be a lil expensive, and let ya know how much it all costs me...already got the drill press at home //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Be careful working the copper. It will gum up and trash a drill bit. Brass is easier to work and should be cheaper.

i'll look into it, if it comes down to it, maybe i'll just do it really cheap, buy some copper piping about 3/4" in diameter depending on the size of the wire that i wanna use it with, thread it for 2 bolts, one for holding the wire, the other for mounting it to a high temp plastic base and holding the anl in place.....i'll let ya know how cheap it really is, but i'll take your advice on looking into bronze which does contain alot of copper...

Brass (copper and zinc), not bronze (copper and tin). Brass is a much better conductor and much cleaner to work. Bronze will tarnish very quickly, especialy with current running through it and it turns to powder when you work it (machining or drilling).
