Cheap Soundstream Comps..opinions?

Well in the spring i plan on installing some comps front and rear to replace my factory comps that i have f+r..Yes i know i theres no use for comps as rear fill but i want to use the oem holes..Call me anal..And at this price i can afford to do so. I will have to run all new speaker wires (gutting oem jbl premium) and am still unsure if i want to run a small amp to them or use the 22rms my future deck will have..

So, anyone try these?

P.S. I will NOT be using these ugly grills or any grills for that matter.

better than factory probably, but people around here have always said good things about these for the cheap price tag

Midbasses would be a better idea in the rear. Instead of ruining your front stage it could reinforce it. Just a thought? But instead of buying 2 sets right off the bat. It may be a better outcome to buy 1 good set. Then later worry about a rear fill with midbass. What is the budget for comps and amp?

interesting idea..The car is a mark viii 2dr and the rear speakers are on both side panels not the rear deck if that matters. I am running a factory deck/speakers w/ a fm mod to run my mp3 player and a loc for my substage and eventually want to get rid of it all including oem ext amp and just get new speakers, h/u(likely pioneer 3200dvd) ect..I got to much clutter right now.. The highs are plenty with the stock system but it lacks mids and the factory x-overs ect in the amp drive me nuts.And you cant add speakers to the existing system, allready tried that and it sounded like poo..Everyone says to just rewire it so thats what ill be doing.

These cost as much as a decent coaxil..And i cant use my oem rears as fill. I do want somthing back there.

hmmmm, i'm starting to think again..Perhaps i'll spend 1-125 on 1 better comp set and get a little 2 ch...hmmmm
