Do you have more than that amp. If so, fuse the main cable for the cable's rating (I'd probably go with 200A) and then install a fuse for just the amp at the distro block.

As far as several of us being dicks on this thread, well, search next time. A lot of us get tired of seeing the same thing over and again. Even a cursory search would probably find 100+ threads mentioning this exact topic just in the last few months.

well on my 1000 watt orion I used a 80 for daily and a 50 for burps and never had problems.

I still won't use welding suplly. I like my KnuKonceptz wire and will use them always.

I'd fuse it with a 120a fuse, you do not fuse it to the max current of the wire.
