Cheap Oscilloscope?

haven't posted in a while so i think this is worthy. Came across it on giz. Obviously doesn't have all the features but it is only 33$for the kit, 49$ pre-built. what do you guys all think of it?

Does it have everything needed for car audio tun-age?

Correct me if i'm wrong, but once your over 2500w with a 1-ohm impedance that won't do you much good for setting max gains w/o clipping. It can only do 50 Vpp, P=V^2/R, P = 2500 w R = 1 ohm, so V = 50 V. Someone doesn't know what a 10x probe is.

Edit: Okay, I won't be mean. I am correcting you. There are such things that can accurately divide voltage. Common multiples are 10x and 100x.

I miss my old one it was a regular lab scope some junky had he was selling at the flea market. I lent it to a buddy who happened to die when he had it and it was never found. I got a little vellman or whatever it is and I don't like it that much, it works but just is jumpy it seems. I keep checking CL every now and then I see one but its to far to go or to much.

Ahh, I see. Never thought about that, haven't ever scoped anything with that high of a voltage to have needed a probe like that. Learn something new everyday.
