HELP PROWLER'S STUPID FRIEND WHILE HE'S IN JAIL

For Sale Thread

Prowler has a stupid friend. Prowler's stupid friend did some stupid things. Now Prowler's stupid friend, as a result of his stupid actions, is going to be a guest of the state for awhile. "Awhile" as in - he just recently renewed the registration on his pickup and it will likely be expired before Prowler's stupid friend sees the world on the other side of the barbed-wire fence again. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Consequently I received a letter from him recently requesting that I go out to his house and uninstall all of the audio gear he had in his truck and see if I could pawn it to send him the proceeds to be used on his commissary or whatever while he is "away."

Every bit of this equipment was tested, by me, on my personal test bench before being offered for sale here to you fine folks.

As always let's get this silliness out of the way first ~

PAYMENT TYPES ACCEPTED:

PayPal ~ I am a Verified PayPal trader with a Premier Business PayPal account. I can accept E-check, existing account balance (whether it be PayPal account balance or the bank account your PayPal is tied to), and credit card fund transfers.

I CANNOT ACCEPT, under any circumstances, a PayPal payment that does not have a PayPal Confirmed US shipping address associated with it. Due to the type of PayPal account I hold (and the settings I have in place) any payment attempts from accounts without a Confirmed shipping address will immediately be returned to the sender without my ever knowing you tried to pay me. If you do not have a Confirmed shipping address your options are to either get an address Confirmed by PayPal or use one of the alternate payment methods described below.

Money Orders/Cashier’s Checks/Personal Checks ~ I will happily accept any of these types of payments. My preference regarding money orders are the ones available from the US Post Office (Postal Money Orders) as they are the easiest to deal with. I will, however, accept money orders from other vendors.

Good ‘ole cash ~ This type of payment is purely at the discretion of the buyer. This seller will under no circumstances accept responsibility for that cash not actually making it to me. It’s a sad but true fact that there are dishonest people in the world and one or three of those people could potentially be under the employ of the United States Postal Service. If you choose to remit payment in this fashion you will do so at your own risk. I’ll happily accept cash payments but the bottom line is I do not recommend putting cash in the mail.

SHIPPING INFORMATION:

For buyers paying via PayPal with existing account balance transfers or credit cards your purchased item(s) will ship out no later than one (1) business day following my receipt of your payment in full.

The shipping times quoted above will also apply to any buyer(s) paying with mailed Cash. (please see disclaimer listed above regarding payments via cash)

For buyers paying via cashier’s check, personal check, E-check through PayPal, or money order your purchased item(s) will ship out no later than one (1) business day following the payment funds clearing my bank account. Please be aware that this process can potentially take up to seven (7) business days to accomplish. I’m not going to withhold shipment any longer than is necessary but I will not ship anything prior to ensuring I have, in fact, been properly paid.

Actual shipping will be via USPS Priority Service including Delivery Confirmation and shipping insurance. I have sent many, many items using this method and as of yet *knock on wood* I haven’t encountered any foul-ups. I pack my shipped items as if to withstand gale-force winds and moderately severe abuse by shipping clerks/package handlers so no worries there. In the unlikely event that your item does not reach its destination in the same condition it left its origin you’ll have the security of knowing that your shipment is insured for more than you paid for it. J

Scans of the applicable receipts will be sent to the buyer the day that shipping takes place to give the buyer the necessary tracking and insurance amount as well as to show where the package was sent to.

As always with any used audio gear Prowler is selling what you see is what you get. There are no “it worked last time I had it installed,” or “I was told that it works ~ I don’t know what’s wrong with it now!” Every item I offer for sale has been recently tested for operational condition on my own personal test bench. If it is listed as 100% operational then that’s what I ship out. Any flaws present will be included in the description. Please feel free to check my linked references found in my posting signature – both the ones from sales on this forum as well as my 100% eBay feedback linked there as well.

Now!

On to what's for sale.

Jensen MP3310 headunit.

It's a plain-jane one, guys and gals.

No detachable face.

No multicolor display.

One single set of preamp outputs (and I haven't a clue as to what voltage said outputs are so please don't ask)

It has a single set of RCA Aux. inputs.

It plays AM and FM.

It plays CDs.

It will play .mp3 files and reads the ID3 tag information for .mp3 files (though it does not support CD-Text for so-encoded discs)

I have the deck itself, the wiring harness, and a mounting sleeve that I do not think actually belongs to this deck as the chassis will not lock into the sleeve.

The tuner works, the CD player works and plays .mp3s, and the Aux input works.

Need a cheapie for your work truck? A throwaway for a boat, perhaps? Here ya go.

$55/shipped

Optimus Model # 7A7 passive EQ / sub crossover

What can I say? It is what it is.

Made for Radio Shack and sold under the Optimus name - here's a 7-band passive EQ with sub crossover and sub level control.

Will accept direct-wired high level input without the need for an LOC.

Frequency band centers are as follows:

60Hz / 150Hz / 400Hz / 1kHz / 2.4kHz / 6kHz / 15kHz

LP cut points for the sub crossover are:

80Hz, 120Hz, or 160Hz

Important Wiring Note:

The blue wire in the wiring harness is NOT a remote activation input as you might think but rather is a remote activation output. When you apply 14.4vdc to the red wire and ground the black wire and then turn this EQ on? You get (according to my DMM) 14.21vdc worth of juice coming out of the blue wire.

DO NOT connect this to a HU's remote output and expect happy results!!!

Rockford Fosgate Model ~ punch 200a4 4-channel amplifier

Some previous owner painted the topside of the amp blue for some reason. I do not know why. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

It is missing 3 of the 8 set screws for the speaker outputs but my test bench showed output from all 4 channels so a prospective owner could either source the 3 missing screws and have a blast or run it bridged as Prowler's stupid friend did and then the missing screws are no longer an issue.

The following power ratings were pulled from the manual for this amp off of RF's website ~

Power output at 13.8vdc (competition standard)

25w X 4 @ 4 Ohm stereo

50w X 4 @ 2 Ohm stereo

100w X 2 @ 4 Ohm mono bridged

Power output @ 14.4vdc (IHF-202 standard)

55w X 4 @ 4 Ohm stereo

85w X 4 @ 2 Ohm stereo

165w X 2 @ 4 Ohm mono bridged

80Hz LP or HP filter, independently adjustable for front and rear channels.

Logic Soundlabs model # AL-280

4-channel amplifier

No processing whatsoever - (no LP or HP crossovers, no bass boost, no nothing but inputs and gain controls)

I have no idea on the wattage output for this one I simply know that given an input signal and connected to four 4 Ohm speakers all four channels created output.

Looks like it's been abused but plays just fine.

Clarion Model # APA250 two-channel amplifier

I know it is rated at 50w X 2 @ 4 Ohm stereo

I think the other ratings are along the lines of ~

75w X 2 @ 2 Ohm stereo and

150w X 1 @ 4 Ohm mono bridged but these last two I cannot be certain of.

Both channels created output on my test bench.

Was not tested in bridged mode.

Continuously variable LP or HP crossover, from 50Hz~250Hz

6dB or 12dB bass boost - I do not know at what frequency this boost occurs.
