Characteristics of FI Q and RE SX?

I know an FI Q is more sound quality oriented but how loud will it get?

An RE SX is more of an spl sub right? How's the sound quality on them though? How does it compare to the FI Q? Different all together?

I would say the Q is more SQL as the 15 in the GF's car sounds good, hits low, and gets loud enough to rattle her car to death....

I am also curious to the answer of this question. I was thinking of getting the SX but everyone keeps posting "its an spl sub". I dont mind that but I do want it to hit my SQ quota. I need the kickdrums to hit tight and crisp but still be loud.

i'll agree, i had a Q 12 in a ported box and it sounded awesome, got very low and it was definitely more than loud enough. bass wasn't muddy at all, it was precise.

The Q has more linear displacement/output capabilities compared to the SX.
