I've got the Alpine 9855 set up pretty good, got the time correction all right and sounding good, etc. Now I come to a single problem. It is running 2 pairs of Type S speakers. Problem: I don't know how to go old fashion and turn up the treble and turn down the bass. All of the "factory eq" settings still have too much bass to where I can't get LOUDNESS out of the deck. Obviously turning the bass down on the deck (so i don't get much bass out of the speakers) will ruin the SQ of it, but I only want to do this while doing SPL. I cant turn up past 18 or so without getting distortion to my speakers because of too much bass going through them.
