chaining 2 a3000's

how do you hook up 2 of these this makes it seem a little wierd, what i wanted to do is wire an amp to each coild this has you connecting the negatives and putting one pos on the negative terminal

how would you just hook an amp to each coil, and set it right it would be really hard with a dmm, how could i just connect the cable to it and run a pos and neg from each amp to a different coil

what would the sub be wired to?

i just want around 1400 out of each one, so 2800 total

do you know if these can take a .7ohms daily for a couple days?

i believe dual 1.4, because it is reading 2.4 in series, he thought they were dual .7s but he never checked

you might wanna check your DMM, 1.4 in series = 2.8 I think. but yah just follow the diagram

yea but it might not be exactly 1.4 all the time

iIf you only want 1400 out of each one, you dont need to have it at .7 ohms. If it would run on .7 ohms is really iffy too, the yare rated at one, and PA isnt exactly known for running cold....

Wire the sub to 2.8 ohms.

And strap the amps.

1.4 to each amp

Let me know how its sounds with 2 of those 3000's...im runnin my MT 18 with one and i'm curious to see if its worth gettin another amp

I think that you should listen to what scottie Johnson said about the leads of your DMM. That woofer is dual .7 and the A3000's will pur like kittens all day long at .7 ohms mono. I think you're making this a lot harder than it really is. Call me and I will help you set everything up.

un-series them and tighten the terminal down on the dmm leads and see what each coil rests at..youre making this alot more difficult than it really is..
