Cerwin Vega XL 600.1

I am a little confused with this amp because I have found different specs on different sites. Is this amp 600 RMS or 600 MAX and is it at 2 ohms or 1 ohm?

it is not for me. My friend only wants to spend 100 shipped for a 5-600 RMS amps @ 2 ohm if you have any suggestions let me know. He wants me to order in the next few days.

That is the RMS, not max... seems like a good deal if it gets anywhere close to 600 watts... where'd you find it for 100?

and as far as it doing the power it is CEA 2006 compliant, so it should be close

the cerwin vega manual states 600w RMS at 2 ohms and 14.4v

i just bought one of these xl600 amps and i have it hooked up to 2 10's that have a max rating of 250 rms each, and they r bumpin like their lives depended on it....

the amp looks kinda cheesey in my opinion but its definitely got some power to back it up

The Kenwood 9104D says it will produce 900 watts @ 2 ohms and it too is CEA 2006 compliant. Look at the test results **HERE**
