Cerwin vega vmax

I cannot compare the V-max to the other woofers since I have never heard them. The V-max sounds ok. If it is going in the trunk you will want two. The one in Wifey's Neon adds bottom end but not much volume or impact. I think it may do better with a ported enclosure but I was given limitations on how much room I could use. For the money I would buy one again.

These subs are good for the money. I used to run a set of the old ones (black and red with the big CV on them) they got pretty loud, but the SQ had much to be desired. They are not on the same level as the CVXs and I've never heard the SEs before, but you have to realize that the price point is not the same for all these woofers either.

I heard a pair of 12'' cerwin vega vmax in my friend's civic (in sealed box 3 cF) and the bass were 4 times louder than my current setup (2 elemental designs 13kv's ported box).

The sound quality on the cerwin vegas were crap compared to my 13kv's though. I'd say my 13kv's sound 10 times better than the cerwin vegas subs.
