I'm finally upgrading to an IDMAX subwoofer, so I need to get rid of my subwoofer.
It's a Cerwin Vega Vmax 12.2 with a .9cft sealed box with polyfill. The subwoofer is in very good condition and perfect working condition. No holes or tears in surround or cone. There are a couple of superficial black marks on the cone, but I think they will come off with some gentle cleaning (I will try).
Asking $100 cash local pickup for the woofer and the box. You won't find a better deal anywhere for a single 12! This woofer can get loud (in a ported box, 140db with decent SQ according to some reviews), but in this sealed configuration it actually sounds shockingly good. I ran it for a long time with my Focal 165K2P frontstage and it kept up surprisingly well. I have never overdriven it and have the gains set with a multimeter to make sure of this.
You are welcome to audition it in my setup before you purchase if you wish.
