CDT setup

Ive heard good things about CDT audio, need new speakers all around

thinking about getting these for the front:

WoofersEtc.com - CL-51A-25 PRO - CDT Audio Classic 5.25" 2 Way Component Speakers

and these for the back:

WoofersEtc.com - CL-69CX - CDT Audio 2-way 6 x 9" Component System

Hopefully off an AQ4x90

I like your selection of CDT Audio. My concern is your choice of 6x9 components for the rear speakers. The Classic series components need RMS power to put out a satisfying amount of midbass, in my experience. You might notice the 6x9s to be louder than the 5.25" components up front with both sets receiving the same power. Some smaller coaxials would do the job well in the rear. You would need adapter plates but some 6.5" or 5.25" coaxes could be made to fit in the 6x9 openings. You could do 2 sets of the CL-51A-25 PRO. I just noticed those components have a rating of 150 Watts RMS. The AQ4x90 is rated to put out only 90 Watts per channel, but this looks promising: AQ4X90 Amplifier

I have one of these in my 2009 MINI Cooper S running a set of CDT COM 626 comps, and a set of CDT 6x9's and they sound amazing. very nice amp i highly recommend this to anyone.Reviewed by: ADAM from SAN MARCOS CA. on 1/22/2011

just pulled the trigger on the bravox 5.25 comps and the cdt 6x9 comps
