CDT ES-620 with Sat480, crossover points?

The satnets are 4200 Hz @ a gentle (their words) 60 dB/oct. Apparently the CDT tweets are not capable of playing low.
I'm not sure why their sets gets praises with that type of xover points and slopes. You can have great sounding 6.5"s but if you cross them that high, you'd surely have beaming issues.

I know your a cdt dealer but I think you are mistaken. I called cdt and was told that a couple months ago because I had those for sale. 4.3 is really high for a tweeter to be crossed.
No bud I'm 100% positive that the crossover points on those are 4.3kHz. Laser is correct....it's not listed on the site. I'm not sure when it was removed. Just a few months ago it was listed in the crossover's description.

Yeah...uhhh...what Paul??

The couple times I have called CDT they seemed like they run their business out of someone's garage and they don't know much about their products, which is why I don't really want to call. It's not a big deal to me as the original buyer wanted to use the passives, but I'm selling them locally to someone who probably won't use them. Either way I'm not too familiar with how a passive crossover works, but if it just splits the frequencies, then 4300 seems really high for a mid to be crossed at; not at all high for a tweeter though. When I switched to active, I ran the DRTs crossed at 4000 with a 12db slope and the mids crossed at 3200, but had some cone break-up so then I settled on 3200 and 2500. Sounded decent. But all this is a moot point if the buyer of my stuff really wants to use the passives with other mids.

I emailed them a few years back, the guy absolutley insisted (in broken English) that I take the mids out of my kicks and put them in the doors. After I explained to him that this went against all logic as far as staging/imaging goes, he just simply was not capable of understanding. I learned years ago not to agrue with idiots, so I have never emailed him since.
