Cdt Cl-s60a / Tw-24

I'm looking at comp sets and the CDT CL-S60A / TW-24 set looks great for $100 bux shipped. Is there anything better for the price or even a little more? Or anything really worth it to spend a little more.

One question I have is at woofersetc.com in the specs they say they have a high pass of 100hz. Is this just an optional high pass or is it built into the xover or something? I will be using these with out a sub so a high pass would diffidently not be wanted.

i have personally owned the cls60a's...they sound really good....i compared them to my buddies rsd's and imo, the cdt's sounded alot clearer and crisper than the rsd's

I got a pair off ebay with the tw-25 tweeters for 100 bucks from woofersect and they sound great in my opinion. Nice budget comp set.

How are they without a sub? I don't need loads of bass. I listen to rock and hard rock with a lot of heavy stuff though...

I wouldnt say there are real bass-e but they do sound good.

Anyone know how they compare to Pioneer TS-D720C's? Looks like they can be had for just a little more.
