CDT CL-61A or Rainbow SLC

Heard both sets in the same car (I owned the CDT's) with similar power...SLC's any day of the week. However, for a small budget the CDT's are very good.

Id probably save the money and go with the rainbows, but for the price the cdts arent bad. you can prob find them cheaper than woofersetc too..

Because CDT is a very under-rated company and not many people know about them. If everyone had the money to buy the best of the best, these threads wouldnt exist.

the first decent speakers i had were those exact cdts. i should say however that i was completely dissappointed in them. never heard the rainbows but stay away from the lower line cdt's IMO. later

I prefer the Rainbows. CDT makes some good speakers in the higher lines though.

I would vote for the Rainbows...I love my SLCs. Look for a good quality amp with 100-200 X 2 @ 4...My amp does 125 X 2 and it sounds perfect.

You can buy them from Premier Audio - he's a great guy
