Sold CDT CL-61 6.5's

I just bought a set of Oz Matrix Elites on ebay... SOOO my CDT CL-61's are up for sale... I'll get pics up in a few but here's the skinny:

Mids are in decent shape... there is some sawdust on them...

Tweets are costmetically good but all there is are surface mounts and they are missing some part because they don't fit in the cup.. I stuffed some acoustical foam behind them and put a dab of superglue on the edge so it holds together... it will pop apart easy b/c super glue is brittle

Xovers and in great shape...

No manual...

Make me an offer.... this would make a great first set of comps for someone looking for a deal...

and I got them in a trade this way... I needed something to start with but the Oz's will do much better

Some like em', some don't.I hated my set.For the type of music I listen to, they didn't cut it.Sounded like someone was holding a pillow over the mid.Fine if you like rap though.

thanks for the bump... as for the sound the mids are a definate weak spot... they lack low end that my aura's were strong in and I could tell with a few tracks that had low vocals... they seemed to be missing those parts all together... but selling them for $75 will do them justice, and me in the trade. I got a hell of a deal on my OZ matrix elites...

I just hope these will live up to my expectations. I have Infinity References (white cone) right now and they are harsh as hell. How much of an improvement do you think ill see? Im jsut looking for a little better midbass and a smooth tweet (I can use the Auras too lol...

And one last thought, how will these compare to Alpine Type Rs? Just curious....

the CDT tweets are decent, not too harsh but lack details. The Aura tweets are as good as I've ever heard. The mids don't play low very well which is a huge problem since my IDW's are TRUE SUBwoofers... they play very very low... so with these mids I'm lacking where some subs might fill in a little better... overall they are a great deal with the aura tweets for $75. As for comparing to type R I've never heard them so I dunno.... anyways you have a PM so let me know... I'll hold them till tomorrow for you then it's on the NoodPoodler....

you know I couldn't say... the deal would be perfect to get you up and running on a passive comp set then you could transition to the aura's + and new mid later on an active setup.... They drive me nuts where they are lacking but once again I stepped down from some rather incredible speakers so if the CDT's are a step up your in luck.. also it's only a handful of songs that they **** on... for the most part they are ok and they are worth $75 with the aura tweets.... I'll pm the paypal addy
