How do those crossovers compare to ex-550i's?

The crossover frequency is the same at 2,500 Hz, but EX-550i is 24 dB/octave vs 12 dB/octave. EX-550i adds image tweeter support with a 5-level attenuation switch and a "trim" selector to optimize for either 5.25"/6.5" woofers or 4" woofers. EX-550i also is not water resistant and I don't recommend installing it in doors.

What it all boils down to is one is a basic crossover suitable to install inside a door and the other is adjustable and compatible with the imaging tweeters.

The EX-550i crossover upgrade is out of stock. We will be able to offer this again next week once CDT is back from CES.
