CDT Audio CL-62 or Rainbow SLC-265's or neither?

I'm trying to pull the plug on some 6.5" components. I found a set of CDT CL-62 used for about $200 or I can wait a couple of weeks untill the SLC-265's come in. What are your guys thoughts on these components or do you have any other suggestions for around $200?

I can tell you that Im really happy wiht my CL-62's, cant comment on the others. I must have got a steal though, I paid $290 shipped for 2 sets of brand new CL-62's a year or so ago...

I really like both brands and have run both brands. The CL against the SLC I would pick Rainbow. Now if you get can the CL for cheap then maybe I would go that way. I would also look at the Pioneer 720PRS and PG RSd comp sets.

In this comparison I pick the Rainbow.

I feel funny about choosing a brand named after a rainbow. It must show it's true colors or don't last long. Though nowhere around here have I heard them but I have CDT's and I like them alot. It's funny becuase even on some music there is alot of bass on them. Though sound will vary from car to car.

i have not heard the cl62 but i currently have the cl61's and really like them. the cl62's can be had below from an authorized dealer for $179 shipped.

the EF-61FG's would probably do better head to head with the rainbows. i'd also talk to djdilliodon if you were interested in CDT.
