CDT 6.5 question

Hey guys just picked up a set of CDT EF-61CFI/25s and a set of HD-61s. I'm going to put one set in my front doors and one in the rear. The set in the rear I may just use the woofers and not bother with the tweets and crossovers not sure yet. But Which set would yall put in the front? I bought some baffles to help give me a little extra bass response on the fronts as well. Thanks in advance

From what I know of these speakers the HD-61 is basically a refresh/rework of the EF-61 set. I'm sure if you put the 6.5" mids side by side you'll see they only differ on the outside by the color of the basket and the cone and dust cap. The cone and dust cap changes will make the speakers sound a bit different. I would use the HD-61 set in the front mostly because it's newer. All of the red basket woofers have been discontinued since ~2009.

Good baffles will help the bass performance, but you also should put in some closed cell foam and mass loaded vinyl. This combination will do more to increase midbass response than anything else I've tried. I used products from Sound Deadener Showdown.
