cd7000 power problem

well ive had mine for at least a year and within the past month sometimes the screen would just suddenly die or turn black (and no music along with it), and lately it got so consistant that it doesnt even turn on anymore. does anyone know what to do? ive detached it and cleaned both sides with rubbing alcohol to make it clean from dust on those yellow connectors and it worked for a day and now back to the same problem. can someone please help??
