cd wont eject out of indash

I traded my Pioneer AVH-64000CD indash to a guy and I forgot to take out a cd that was in it. He got it and plugged it up and it wont eject the disk or even play the cd in it, it wont even switch to the CD source. He took it to a shop and they tried pulling the cd out with some tweezers and it didnt work and they are suggesting to send it off.

I feel really bad for this and I feel like its my fault. So could someone maybe shine some light into this? What can he do to fix it? Whats going on with it?

Also the shop said that the cd transport is faulty or w/e.....

Call Pioneer and see if there is anyway to reset the unit....

What about the reset button on the front of it?

You take the faceplate off and its right there?

this has happened to me a few times. have you tryed disconnecting the battery, it's worked everytime for me it resets the head unit i had to do that since mine has no reset button
