CD stuck in HU :(

I have a JVC SHX-700 head unit and my **** Ludacris CD will not eject!!! I dont ever want to hear this CD again and I'm getting tired of the radio too... they should have a little pin hole that you can insert a paper clip in to pop it out, if that doesn't work take the top cover off the HU and eject the cd from turning the return bracket gear

happened to me all the time with my old head unit, just keep trying to eject it, and eventually it will come out to the point where you can grab it and pull it out....

x2. It happens with mine occasionally. Press eject, and get some needlenose pliers and gently pull it out.

There isn't an eject, but there should be a reset.

If it's like the lower end JVC's probably just needs reset... i think on that one there is a reset button on the front, push it with a paperclip.

i think it's cause the eject motor is so far back in the deck to allow for the motorized faceplates....

cheap headunits never seem to have problems

If there's no reset button, try holding down the power and eject buttons at the same time.

my old JCV did the exact same thing and all i ever had to do was disconnect the negative battery cable for like 10 mins and when i re-connected it the hu worked like normal

It turned out to be something with the computer... I reset the unit and it worked fine. Thanks guys!
