causes of blown fuses

ohkay what size? and if i need a bigger fuse why would all of a sudden a blow 2 of them within two days?
i dunno. you were lucky for 3 months:confused:

if your getting 1900watts from the amp you should get 1/0 gauge wire and then the fuse is how ever much the wire can handle, usually 300amp.

I'm gonna assume it does 1900 at 1 ohm, correct me if I'm wrong, and what ohm load are you running at? If one ohm then you need a bigger fuse and definitely bigger wiring.
yes 1 ohm... and im running it at 1 ohm with the gains set way down..

lol pulling too much current. it happens. get a bigger fuse. 200amp fuse should suffice if your amp is rated to do 1900rms@12v

i dont know chit about ur amp though just guessing based off model #

i wouldnt say im gettin 1900 watts though... its more like 1000...if that

atleast a 150amp and for sure upgrade wiring, this is in no way a selling ploy I am legitamately just helping you out but I do happen to have all the stuff you would need to do this //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

then get atleast a 150. if you feel like re-wireing then do 0 gauge with atleast 300amp fuse. it might be overkill now but if you upgrade you're gonna want it.

don't put a 300 amp fuse in. If he did that and his amp had a problem the amp would catch fire before the fuse blew. 200 amp fuse + 1/0 wire or 2 gauge wire if you wanna go cheap.

I don't know about fuses though, I ran a 2250 watt amp at 2 ohms so it was supposed to push 1500 watts and a 95x4 watt 4 channel amp off of one 4 gauge wire with a 60 amp fuse with a distribution block in the back for months without blowing it.
