Cash advance on credit card??

I have a credit card with 1k dollar limit and 500 dollar cash advance. My interest is zero until july. So i was wondering if anyone knew whats the policy or interest on cash advances is it the same as using the credit card to make the purcahse or what.

check your policy im pretty sure they will charge a diff interest rates for cash advances even in the zero % intro ..

Ok thanks, if i need the cash then can i do a money order to myself and charge the money for the order to the credit card is that possible. Is a money order only possible if you have cash to send or can you charge money from a card to a money order

I'm always getting the cash I can off my credit cards when they first come in...Then I charge the rest till its no good and dispose of it till I get approved for another.....

I was also wondering about the "do you want cash back" when you go to a store or something with the screen and you slide your card yourself. I've seen it with a debit card but I've never tried with a credit card.

No.

If you dont purchase a product (so the bank can get their 3-4% fee from the merchant) its still considered a cash advance.

Most credit card companies charge 20% interest or more on cash advances.

yea well on my info it shows zero interest on intro purcahse rate until july all the other for cash advance and stanard purcahse rate dont have that rate or date beside them.

So now the question is can i do a money order with credit card
