I always thought it was better when the meter was in one spot and the cars pulled up to it, and cars that weren't going parked towards the other side of the building. You didn't have to follow the meter around to watch people compete.

thats how it usually is. we had to abide by the expo center regulations, which meant the vehicles would remain off and in place.
