but it still says the vehicle was registered and driven in New Orleans.... so it's pretty easy to assume any vehicle that was registered in NO at that time was flooded.... especially if it's for sale now and all the way in Canada.... (like the car I am looking at)ain't that a shame, my car was flooded all the way to the roof but wasn't reported.... ftmfw

I don't think everyone would have reported their car being flooded... it's just common sense that if it was registered in NO during Katrina, then it has some water damage.
but you're completly missing the point... I (meaning me, and only me) will not buy a car if it was a NO registered car at the time.... I don't care if people travelled out of state or not... I am making the personal choice not to buy any car that came from NO... or that was registered as a NO car at the time because the chances that it was flooded are high... it's playing numbers... Everyone sees it as a risk to buy cars that were registered in NO at the time, a risk I am not taking.thanks not true, how do they know if i traveled out of state for the hurricane and just want something else? my brother has a lebaron he traveled out of state with and his had absoultely no water damage. Mine was completely submerged and there is no way to tell. After all the work i dont to it, It actually runs better now than before.
any reputable(and I use this term loosely) used car dealer will give you a free carfax report on a car you are buying from them. Tell them you will not buy it without one and trust me, they will get it.if you are buying from a used car dealership, do you think they'd be able to give the carfax report for free?
STFU, GTFO...then submerge your entire face in the same water that flooded your car for an extremely long time.

I talked to the salesman and he has lowered it a few thousand...Still, CA is far to get a salvage car.NP... I wouldn't buy it unless it was a **** good deal.
