Hey there guys. As most of you remember I was running a monthly raffle for a while, through my site at http://www.caraudioraffle.com . Due to a lack of time, the raffles were cut off.

I am beginning them again.

In an attempt to not use caraudio.com as a gateway and anger the mods, which I believe the raffles did in the past, the raffles will now be run strictly from my site.

I have added a forum to the site, as well as a classifieds section to sell and purchase goods, which should make things run a lot smoother and provide a place for individuals interested in things beyond the raffle to chat as well.

Check it out and let me know what you think. It is nowhere near perfect yet, with the classifieds section being obviously out of place, but I am working to fix that (changing the layout as fast as I can learn basic php //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif ), and hope to have everything looking good by next weekend. Until then, however, everything is fully functional and ready to use.

Pssh, I never offered a type S, only dual R's or a single X //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Are you calling me a liar!!!

Fine whatever Type X then...

Can somebody explain how the raffles work? I looked for a FAQ on the site, but I couldn't find one.
Give it about a week and all the information you could want will be up there, I'm just throwing it up unfinished, and trying to get people aware as soon as possible, so come raffle time it's self sustaining.

For a little bit of a heads up though, the raffles work like this. I create a list of ~10 possible prizes, all right around $250 pre shipping. Then I sell 100 tickets @ $3 a ticket (limit 5 per person), and draw a winner, who gets their choice of a prize. Then I order it and have it delivered to the winner's doorstep.

So basically it's a pyramid scheme with you on top and X amount of buyers on the bottom... and you get the remainder of the profits...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif just messin'. Sounds like fun. How many forums know about this?

Except I don't make any money....after paypal fees I get ~$270, which just covers shipping //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

As far as the forums that know about this, only this one. In the past when I ran the raffles people here wanted it to be a more personal thing so I never really spread the word. Now since it will be running directly from my site I feel that if you want to tell anyone else about it feel free to, the discussion on the new site will form a personability aspect such that it will make it fair.
