car amplifier to wall outlet

If I did it that way, I would go 1 power supply with a huge *** diode on the + line going to each battery, then parallel the batteries for a strong 12. I don't know if the diode per power supply +12v line is necessary, but I would hate to have one power supply accidentally back feed another.

Yes, I hook all three to the battery bank to charge the bank then wire the amps to the battery bank. The batteries act like a reserve so I don't blow up my power supplies when drawing well over their rated current.

I have blown them a few times running 3000Ds @ 1/2 ohm on the bench before I stepped up to three power supplies. It takes out the rectifiers - which, coincidentally, are cheap, readily available, and easy to replace //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Since I bought the third one I have been running smoothly after 100s of amps tested over many months now.
