caps??

ok i have 2 1farad digital caps installed in my set up,

i was wondering how offen do they need to be re-charged its been about 2 months now

and the other day i was having a problem with my eletrically system when i would be stopped at a light my my amp for my highs/mids cut out, it never happened before

some told me to recharge the caps cuz the same thing happened to him so is there any truth to that i dont wana get a new alternator cuz i cannot afford 750 for 1 ,

but i was thinking what about adding another battery, would it help beacuse then it wouldnt be ******* all the juice up all in 1 spot or maybe i need to re*-charge them caps

If the capacitors are hooked up in your system, they instantaneously (almost) recharge once they discharge. The light went on your amp because of a voltage problem that capacitors cannot cure. Adding another battery is only useful if you plan on sitting there listening to music with the engine off.
