Your remote turn ON doesn't have anything to do with adding a capacitor. Why do you think it does?

Sounds like your remote wire isnt any good/not working properly. Cap has nothing to do with that.

Provide some detail on your cap install. Hard to diagnose a why without knowing the what or how.
“My car won’t start. Why?”
You’ll get a hundred answers. None will be right b/c you haven’t mentioned there’s no engine in the bay…
