Capacitor questions

well it is still just a max of 15V. you won't really feel anything. maybe if you're sweating, but other then that i wouldn't worry too much.

my professor demonstrated this with a soda-can sized capacitor. charged it up to 100V. smacked the terminals to his palm, no adverse affects. took a peice of metal -- BANG! the fast release of energy from the cap into the conductive metal was so high the metal melted and arc-welded to the capacitor. yet his palm, being non-metallic, did not allow the same fast release of energy.

Non-metallic, and more importantly - probably in the neighborhood of about a million ohms

that's why I //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif 'd
