capacitor question and amp too, plz help

i have a 800 rms system, 400 per sub, 2 12'' kicker cvr's, what size capacitor should i get?

i also am having amp troubles, audiobahn a8002t is what i have, which says its rated at 400w x 2 rms, so if bridged should be 800w rms, which is what i have for subs. the subs run into a terminal in the side of the box, and it says they are 2 ohm's on the terminal. so why would it go into protect?

please read the stickies in the electrical section.

a cap will not help you.

also, is the AMP 2 ohm mono stable? more than likely NOT. it can run down to 2 ohms stereo but not bridged.

sell the audiobahn and buy something MEANT for subs. Class D preferred.

any recommendations on a good class d amp that would push those subs? im in the tampa area too

what price range you looking at, and how many total watts would you like to push?

800 RMS all the time?

maybe 1500 peak?

yeah, the subs are kicker 12'' cvr's, nothing to spectacular, but are dual voice coil and 400 rms a peice, so 800 total, something liek that would be good, what price range would i be looking at?
