capacitor costantly on?

I just hooked up my capacitor and i am pretty **** sure all the wires are installed correctly. But when i turn off my car the cap. is still running. Is this draining my battery? Do i hook up a remote? What is going on?

Mine turns off 1 minute after it stops receiving a steady 12V signal. It turns off a minute after I turn off my car, but if I move the electric seat, it turns back on. Its all good, nothing to worry about.

the ones ive seen display voltage until voltage is steady for a set amount of time...

if it doesnt turn off it WILL drain ur battery, slowly, but it will

yeah mine will beep and flash its L.E.D's after about 12V and then cuts off,but does it need to be recharged again after it has been disconnected from the batter?

a lot of caps now have auto run circuits which turn them on and off without a remote... it should turn off after a few minutes without the car running

That is how the Stinger 1-farad cap I have sitting in storage does. (or did during the few days it was part of my setup)

After 60 seconds of no appreciable current flow the LED display and the silly-ass neon ring around the top would shut off. But if anything caused a draw from anywhere it comes back on.

yes there is lol..... charging is when u are putting curretn into it lol dischargin is when its putting out current
