Can't decide. Which HU?

These are my choices.

Pioneer DEH-P980BT (will have to purchase CD-IB100II for IPOD +50bucks)

or

Alpine CDA-9887

or

Alpine iDA-X001

Here are some things that are important to me.

Ipod control.

Pleasing to the eye.

This will be my system

2007 Civic Si Sedan

RE Audio RE6.5 components

1 12" IDQ (sealed 1 cubic foot)

Stock rear speakers driven off HU

JL Audio 450/4 v2 amp. Comps ran off rear for 75watts. Sub off front bridged 4 ohm for 300 watts.

Looks like the IDA-X001 model is out since it doesn't have a cd player.

Why not go for the Pioneer Premier DEH-590iB? It has built in Ipod controls, and it's pleasing to the eyes. Not to mention, but it's cheaper than the rest of the units stated.

If you want a great SQ deck then Alpine 9887. It is the current model to compare to the 9835 or 9855. The 9887 incorporates the new Alpine Imprint technology also. The ipod interface will work fine for most users.

Do a search on here for the 9887.

There is no comparison between the 9887 and the other you listed. Its in a whole nother playing field.IMO
