Candied bacon

Have you ever had it? Thoughts on it's taste, any prep tips? I am making a first batch now and I need to find a way to keep the bacon on the cooling rack more efficiently. I have high hops for it though.

Candied bacon is just bacon with a nice brown sugar coating then put in the oven for about 30min. I had the first batch, I approved of it, now the second batch is almost done and I will be able to make a better opinion on it.
