I didn't. Around here you can't pay a ticket through the mail. You have to go before a judge, make a plea, and recieve a sentence.

Why didn't you get it rescheduled to DA's night? That way you go meet with an Assistant DA, explain your story, and you come to a plea deal. If it's the first time it happened the DA may have dropped, or at least reduced, it.
