[QUOTE="JLhelp, post: 3292332, member: 574785"] The hell are you talking about? I know they are wrong because I have tried what they told me, they looked it over and agreed and it did not work, nothing to do with preferance of a sub. I don't care if there are better subs out there, I like mine. I did not disagree with anyone on here. I said there are better subs out there im sure, I have just never had anyone show me one. I go to car meets about 3 times a week. 2 are 250+ cars Its quite hard to prove a sub is better unless you do actual tests on them. Just because the company claims it handles 25000 watts doesn't mean it def. will or that their 25000 watt amp is giving that sub that many watts. Look at all the ghetto name brands out there with 9000 watt amps and stuff like that. Yes I am a name brand person. I didn't buy $9000 HRE's because I thought they would look good on my car or impress other guys. I did it for one reason and 1 reason only, to impress ******. I travel a lot and believe me, I don't expect anyone that doesn't live or hasn't been to SF to understand. Illinois and Missippi and New York... you places are nothing like here. Hell, when I was in canada not long ago, if you had 20" rims you were king of the hill! I'm sure I opened a can of worms for you kids to play with "oh, you need it blah blah blah" No, I have money, I didn't earn it to sit on it for ever. I want to have fun with it so I buy what I like. Again, if anyone is down here in South Florida and has a speaker that has more drop than 2 13.5W7's and is equal or better quality, please tell me when and where you would like to meet. I have a friend who just put 6 10" rockford I believe in his competiton cadillac CTS-V. That thing is by far the loudest car I have heard in a while. But again, they were 10's and the sound from a 10" doesn't exaclty do it for me so I will stick to bigger diameter subs. I haven't heard their high end 12's or bigger speakers so I can't say if I like them better. And come to think of it, I paid about 1/2 per speaker than he did, so I still kind of came out on top...
