I wonder what its like to be 17, have no job, and have rich parents. Hmm, I wouldnt want that though, I like the pride I have from buying and installing everything myself. But, if you want your parents to buy you everything to put in your escalade that your dad gave you after he got his H2, that is your business. Its a sub that's meant to be burped. Subs like the MT could make those same huge wattage claims too. But RE knows it comes down to application, doesn't want some 17 y/o kid to see 10,000 watts and think he's gonna do that to bump Dr Dre in the back of his mom's mini-van.
