I have a Bass Mechanik CD that has text tone frequencies on it. I read the sticky about test tones and Gain settings and it talks about 0 db or -6 db at whatever Hz. I'm having problems downloading the test tones from the link in the sticky, so I was wondering if I can use the Mechanik CD. The thing is, the CD says 20 Hz, or 30 Hz, or 33 Hz (the one I would use), but it dosn't say if it's 0 db, or -3 db, or -6 db.
And if it matters, I have a Massive Audio P1000.1 wired to 1 ohm powering a 12" SI Mag in a Ported box tuned to about 32-34 Hz. Currently, I have the gain set to half way, and no boosts on the amp or the Alpine deck. The Massive does 880 Watts @ 1 ohm.
