Can I underpower?

OK am currently running 2 12" sony subs 350rms 1200w peak and i got a 750w amp to power em i thought they were great then i went to a car show and heard some Kicker L7's and realised I had to upgrade. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I can afford the subs but not the amp right now so could I just rake out my sonys and put the kickers in with my 750w amp? I know they would be underpowerd but would only be for a few weeks, would this damage ne thing?

I was also woundering with so much more bass wouldn't it overpower the rest of the music? am running 6.5" components up front and some 320w 6x9s at the rear.

You've turned your volume down before, right??

That's also "under-powering". It won't hurt a thing.

your speakers are fine the bass wont over power the music. i only have 2 4 inch factory speakers and i still hear the music fine
